Regeneration

A lot of work we do helps pave the way for major regeneration projects to begin. Here’s a couple of examples.

Project: Pendleton PFI, Salford
Client: Keepmoat
Value: £1.73m
Duration: 195 Weeks

Pendleton PFI is a 10 year, multi-million pound major regeneration project in the heart of Salford to create a better choice of quality housing and boost the area back to the thriving community it once was.

Scope of works:

Bulk earthworks; hard and soft landscaping including planting new trees and shrubs; resurfacing car parks; amendments to existing kerbing and drainage; block paved parking provision; block paving to public realm areas; hard standing cleaning; installation of boundary fencing and re-establishing and creating of new boundaries.

Social value:

As this is a major regeneration programme for Salford which will deliver real social-value and benefits to the community, PP O’Connor will actively seek to employ long-term unemployed people from the local area and appoint one apprentice.
