Job Summary – HGV Driver
We are seeking reliable and professional 8×4 tipper drivers for Muck away/ Aggregate deliveries to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a hardworking operation that values commitment, communication, and a strong work ethic. The position offers extremely competitive pay with excellent bonus schemes and is suitable for those who enjoy working independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations across the Northwest, ensuring timely deliveries
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Deliver goods to customers or clients across designated routes within the scheduled timeframe whilst working to all traffic laws.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety policies in place.
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation is completed and signed by recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding delivery schedules or delays.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries and collections.
Skills –HGV Driver
- Proven experience as a tipper driver would be desirable. However, we do offer driver training, supporting newly qualified drivers who are looking to build a long-term career in tipper haulage. Full guidance and monitoring will be provided to help you develop into the role.
- Valid driver’s licence, tacho and up to date CPC cards.
- Good understanding of off road driving on landfill sites and quarries.
- Excellent communication skills to interact courteously with customers and team members.
- Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and adhere to schedules.
- Ability to operate various types of vehicles safely and responsibly, including vans or lorries suitable for commercial deliveries. This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in their driving skills

What we’re looking for
Due to the award of multiple new contracts, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of major civil engineering projects. You’ll lead from the front ensuring safe delivery, technical excellence, commercial performance, and great communication with clients and your team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead safe, high‑quality project delivery
- Oversee all site activity in line with company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems
Drive operational performance
- Lead and support your site team ensuring delivery to programme, specification and budget
Ensure strong commercial control
- Work closely with the QS and Contracts Manager to protect profit and manage risk
Communicate effectively
- Act as the main point of contact on site with clients, designers, subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements
- Degree qualified
- Previous experience of managing earthworks, highways and infrastructure projects
- First Aid at Work
- SMSTS
- CSCS Black Manager card
- Valid UK driving license
